The GMG Mt. Kare Mining Project is a gold mining focussed project located in the Enga Province of PNG and situated 15km southwest of Barrick’s Porgera Gold Mine.

GMG Mining is a collaboration between multiple mining specialists, business management, investment managers, and technology and innnovation organisations experienced in designing and delivering industry-leading, mining development projects.

For the Mt. Kare Project, the people of PNG are our key stakeholders and we seek to work with them to create new industry, develop local capabilities, deliver local infrastructure and nurture a valued partnership.

GMG intends to continue exploration work to bring the project into the Feasibility Study (FS) and Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) phases in the first two years of the license term.

The focus on mining will initially explore value creation through gold and silver mining, timber harvesting and carbon offsets.
